Description
Car runs well but does not pass smog because of a diagnostic code. A qualified mechanic diagnosed it and indicated that the VANOS units need to be replaced. I have an extra set of the assemblies that could be rebuilt. The timing chain guides and tensioner were replaced with BMW parts about a year ago (less than 10,000 miles).
